Hello,

I'm Janine, a Social Worker with over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of women's, children's and young people's health. I also provide mentoring and clinical supervision to university students and colleagues.

Most of all, I hope to inspire others to tell their story, explore their core beliefs and strengths, identify and address obstacles preventing positive personal growth.

Through personalised coaching, I will work alongside you to develop an integrated plan to achieve full body and mind wellness. Often this combines a range of practices,  including counselling, intention-tapping, and meditation, to build on your  healing journey.

The beauty of your story is that it will continue to evolve, and it belongs only to you. Take ownership and learn how to tap into, develop and apply your inherent skills.

In my practice, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches. Supporting clients to enhance self-awareness, explore and develop solutions to alleviate distress, and create meaningful relationships to enhance personal growth and eventual healing.

I am originally from Wembley, Perth, Western Australia, and I work alongside my partner, LJ the Wellbeing Dog. I am now currently residing in the Northern Rivers, New South Wales. To consolidate our working relationship I completed training with Harcum College in the USA in Animal Assisted Therapies and Activities. With LJ, I introduced a pilot program for wellbeing dogs in a Perth Secondary school for both students and staff. The program was a huge success, and LJ is now an official member of the team!

Sometimes our life experiences and situations might create a sense of imbalance, stress or even illness. How we interpret and respond to different situations influences how we are affected by them. We do this either consciously or subconsciously through our mind's and body's natural defense mechanisms.

By applying evidence-based approaches, I integrate innovative techniques to develop individual support programs. I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most significant element in creating a safe environment.

I understand and respect the courage it can take to ask for help, particularly when we feel overwhelmed or vulnerable. I hope to provide a compassionate, non-judgemental, respectful space to assist people in developing solutions, experience growth, and trusting in themselves.
